The only reason anyone pays bank charges is they’re too thick to use another bank

Re: Irrespective of how much money you have - what item or service will you not pay for?
Years ago I opened up a bank account and over the years regularly collected cash from a branch of said bank.

Then the bank closed several branches and provided cash machines so that I could draw out my money.

So the deal was the bank held and used my money and in return I could freely draw it out. As far as I’m concerned that is still the deal. From the Bank’s point of view a cash machine is much les of an overhead than an empty or little used branch. Now the banks close branches and tell you to go to Tesco’s where the nearest free withdrawal facility is provided.

The sooner society as a whole becomes cashless the better.

Cash machines aren't free to make, aren't free to operate and takes a person to replenish.

If you wanted to start a business providing cash for anyone, anywhere, regardless of which bank they're with, by making and maintaining a safe, electronic means of communication with the bank and dispensing of cash, where in the business plan will it mention actually generating the money to keep this up?

You're not "paying to access your own money" , you're paying for a service where someone has managed to get a means of accessing your own money from a convenient location for you and are charging a small premium to use the equipment.

I will never ever use those cash machines that charge £1.50 just to take your money out. I would rather walk half an hour to a free one! A mate was short after a pub session the other week and paid £1.50 to get a tenner out for a kebab.

Looked at a 68 reg car yesterday but because the original list price was over 40k, the road tax is increased by 325 a year for 6 years. Told the salesman to do one.

A Taxi, the natural enemy of the motorcyclist. Lost count of the times I've tried to pull one out of his cab by his throat through the window with his passenger freaking out.

Anyone who doesn't see me, swerves into the inside lane and nearly wipes me out and puts his hand up and mouths 'sorry' and my anger and adrenaline dissipates immediately. Taxi drivers usually mouth 'wanker' and I go to def-con one.

Put money in his sky? - fucking do one you utter cunt.

Also due to recent tough times , refuse to pay that 1,99 for cash machine charges.I know petty but do not agree in principle you should be charged to withdraw your own money.
